Ginger Pork(Shogayaki)

Ginger pork is one of the classic Japanese dishes. Great thing about cooking the ginger pork is that you can change up the sauce to suit your preference. ( little more sugar? little less ginger?,,,)  It's delicious to eat even they are cold. (many Japanese people put cold ginger pork in their bento box)

Hi, I'm June Voss, CEO of the company, a wife to an amazing husband whom I met while working at Walt Disney World and a mother of 2 wonderful children ( and 2 dogs, 11 goats and 3 rescued feral cats). I was born and raised in Japan. I would love to share delicious Japanese foods, culture and everything I love about the beautiful country.  I am not a professional chef, I just love cooking! I have translated and added some of the recipes I like, but once you've cooked a few of these dishes, you'll soon be able to cook almost anything in your Microwave Donabe. I hope you enjoy it and can't wait to hear & see your own Donabe creations!
