Chocolate Swirl Cheesecake in the Microwave

Description

You can make this rich but not too sweet cheesecake in the microwave in no time! No need to use your oven, you just need to mix everything and microwave it. 

★The amount of ingredients and heating time are measured for 1 ~ 2 people
    Ingredients
  • 200 grams Cream Cheese
  • 60 grams Sugar
  • 25 grams Unsalted Butter
  • 100 grams Sour Cream
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Corn Starch
  • 5 grams Chocolate (your choice)
  • 100 grams Graham Crackers (Optional)
  • 50 grams Unsalted Butter (Optional)
★ cooking times may vary depending on your microwave's wattage, brand and size.
    Directions
  1. Bring all the ingredients, except the chocolate, to room temperature. Then put the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

  2. Bring all the ingredients, except chocolate, to room temperature. Then put the ingredients in a bowl and mix well.

  3. Take 1 tablespoon of step 2 dough, and mix it with melted chocolate.

  4. Apply butter ( not listed ) to the inside of the donabe, and place a baking paper on the bottom. 

  5. Pour the dough mixture ( step 2) into the donabe.

  6. Add the chocolate mixed dough ( step 3 ) into the donabe. (add it in a few different places)

  7. Flatten the surface of the dough mixture, and create a marble pattern by using a bamboo skewer. ( or tooth picks etc,,,,,)

  8. Cover the donabe with a paper towel and place the lid on top. 

  9. Heat at 500W ( 50%power ) for 5mins. Change the microwave power to 200W ( 20 % )then cook an additional 5 min. 

  10. When the donabe cools off, put it into a refrigerator. 

    You can use strawberry-flavored cream cheese instead of plain cream cheese. To make a bottom crust, crush the crackers and add 50g of unsalted butter.
