Non Deep Fried Chili Shrimp

No need to deep fry the shrimp. Tasty and healthier version of the Chili Shrimp.

★ cooking times may vary depending on your microwave's wattage, brand and size.


  1. Finely chop the green onion, ginger and garlic.

  2. Wash the peeled shrimp with saltwater.

  3. Drain and dry the washed shrimp and add potato starch.

  4. Mix the seasoning, potato starch and all the chopped vegetables in the Donabe.

  5. Add shrimp and mix some more.

  6. Place the kitchen paper towel on top of the ingredients, then cook at 50% microwave level for 3 min. ( without the lid)

  7. Arrange the shrimp in a plate, and add some green peas. (peas are optional)
