Cheesy Cauliflower in Mayo & Curry sauce

Cheesy cauliflower with a little twist. Just adding some cheese, mayo and a dash of curry powder transformed this simple steamed dish into a flavorful everyone's favorite side dish! You can change it up by adding different kind of cheese, sauce or vegetables. (like tomatoes and broccoli) This mixing of a small amount of curry powder makes a big difference. You are not a fan of curry flavor? no worries. You can mix a little bit of garlic and mayo, and that gives you a nice aroma and flavor too.

  6. Add the sauce to the Donabe and mix with the steamed cauliflower bites.

  7. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on the top.

  8. Put the Donabe in the heated oven (375 F or so) for about 7~10 min or until the cheese melts nicely. (No lid) ***2

***1 You do not have to use Kewpie Japanese Mayo, you can use any mayo of your choice. ( but I would highly recommend to give it a try ) ***2 Heat in your oven is optional. If you don't wish to use the oven, you can put the Donabe back into your microwave for an additional 2min or until the cheese melts. If you want the cheese to be crispy, you can put the Donabe (without the lid) and heat it in the broil setting for a few minutes till your likeness.
