Returns

You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received your product that was purchased on our website. To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have a receipt or proof of purchase.

If your item was purchased from another one of our retailers, please return to the store of purchase and refer to that locations return policy.

Refunds

Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you of the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your original form of payment. You will receive the credit within 5 to 7 business days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.

Shipping

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable.

STEPS & CONDITIONS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT A VALID CLAIM

  1. A written letter explaining your dissatisfaction in detail within two (2) months of purchase
  1. Include a proof of purchase and where you purchased – a valid original receipt with the date of purchase and price of the Japanese Goods USA product identified.

Refund is limited to one (1) claim per individual, family, or household per year. Not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or undelivered mail. This offer, extended to consumers, requires that the purchase be made by the person receiving the refund. No submissions will be accepted from retailers, clubs, organizations, wholesalers, or contractors. This offer may not be published in any other form of publication without the written permission of Japanese Goods USA LLC. Allow a processing time of 8-12 weeks.

Cancellation Policy on personalized items

Personal engraved product sales are final once purchased.

Shipping Policy

  • We offer free ground shipping on all orders over $35 within the United States.
  • Our shipping frames depend on where you are located. All orders are processed within 1 business day, if you place an order on Friday after 2pm EST it will most likely be processed on  Monday. Orders made on Saturday or Sunday will be processed on Monday. Please keep this in mind when choosing your shipping option. Our goal is for you to receive your order within 2 to 5 days of when your order was processed.
  • We strongly suggest that you ship your order to a reliable address, Japanese Goods USA is not responsible for lost/stolen orders.
  • After your order is shipped, you will receive shipping details via email or text message.

Damaged shipments

  1. Take a photo of the damages of the shipping labels/shipping box/product and any other photos that you will deem necessary for us to process you claim. ( these photos will be used to put in a claim to the carrier of delivery)
  2. Label photos with the delivery date that you received the packages.
  3. Contact us within 3 days of receiving your product with the damage information and photos.
  4. We will process your claim ASAP, if the claim is approved we will ship your replacement out immediately.

Majeure Clause

Neither party shall be liable in damages or have the right to terminate this sale for any delay or default in performing hereunder if such delay or default is caused by conditions beyond its control including, but not limited to Acts of God, Government restrictions, wars, insurrections and/or any other cause beyond the reasonable control of the party whose performance is affected.

Limits on Liability

We work hard to provide the best Products we can and to specify clear guidelines for everyone who uses them. Our Products, however, are provided “as is,” and we make no guarantees that they always will be safe, secure, or error-free, or that they will function without disruptions, delays, or imperfections. To the extent permitted by law, we also DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not control or direct what people and others do or say, and we are not responsible for their actions or conduct (whether online of offline) or any content they share ( including offensive, inappropriate, obscene, unlawful, and other objectionable content).

We cannot predict when issues might arise with our Products. Accordingly, our liability shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and under no circumstance will we be liable for any damage caused by the purchaser.
